Ted addressed the
meeting stating that he had attended meetings with Tom Fudala, with Greg Taylor(DPW)and with the Board of
Selectmen and all are supportive of posting various directional-type signs throughout Mashpee with the goal to
ease traffic flow away from the Mashpee Rotary. Ted explained what they are presenting is
general concept and that nothing has been designed yet as to size and location. Following points were brought
out during the discussion
• Safety issues/concerns were expressed, for example, exiting New Seabury onto Red Brook Road.
• Ted noted that mounting for signs will be whatever Greg Taylor feels is appropriate.
• Ted stated that people want something done about traffic and one thought is that directional signage
would help.
• Tom noted that the State Highway Department has to approve any signage placed on a state highway.
