Mashpce Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,January 18,2007 5 � . <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Thomas O'Hara,Lee Gurney,Robert Nelson, Tom Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Also Present: Tom Fudala--Town Planner <br /> Summary <br /> • Mashpee Chamber of Commerce—Stamped Approved. <br /> • Seabury Wine&Spirits-Approved with condition those agreed-upon color changes of maroon-108L for background and <br /> metallic gold-109L for lettering be used. If applicant does not agree to these color changes then they will comeback to <br /> Design Review with their proposal. <br /> • Upper Cape Realty- Stamped.approved as a 20 square foot size sign on Barnstable Road side. <br /> • KenMark-Approved with condition that sign will be 20 square feet. <br /> • Stonewood Products-Stamped approved. <br /> • Duck Pond--Applicant to return to Design Review Meeting with Plans, samples,colors,pictures, etc. showing exactly what <br /> is being proposed for this project. <br /> • Mashpee Woods—Nice looking building. Any plant material, any oaks, anything worth saving should be tagged so they can <br /> be saved. <br /> • KenMark Project—Consensus was reached that no major changes but some re-grade adjustments are necessary to allow <br /> machine in to stabilize the bank. Tom O'Hara and Tom Jalowy will do site visit and make recommendation on how to <br /> proceed. Applicant will get another landscape plan to Design Review for review. <br /> Thomas O'Hara, Chairman,called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> Mashpee Chamber of Commerce <br /> 520 Main Street <br /> Signage(Welcome Center) <br /> Kevin Sh ckett <br /> Kevin Shackett appeared and presented proposed sign and stated it will be inside Chamber's property line. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved. <br /> Seabury Wine&Spirits <br /> 19 Commercial Street <br /> Applicant,Mike Ellis <br /> Contact: Jim McDermitt of Sign A Rama <br /> Jim McDermitt submitted the sign for approval. The Committee said the sign looks good but objected to the yellow proposed as being <br /> too bright. The Committee looked at the color chart offered by Mr.McDermitt and suggested perhaps using gold lettering with <br /> different background would be more appropriate. Also,if applicant decides to add lighting,then they are to come back to Design <br /> Review with proposed lighting. <br /> Conclusion: Approved with condition that agreed-upon color changes of maroon-108L for background and metallic gold- <br /> 109L for lettering be used. He said the location would be on the <br /> Barnstable Road Side. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped approved as a 20 square foot size sign on Barnstable Road side. <br />
