Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday, November 13, 2008 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Robert Nelson, Thomas O'Hara, and Richard <br /> Stevens. <br /> Absent: Tom Jalowy. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> 48 South Street <br /> Game Stop <br /> Applicant— Pretorius Electric & Sign Company <br /> Applicant-Viewpoint Sign &Awning <br /> Awning and signage <br /> Rich Pretorius and Sean Donovan appeared. Mr. Pretorius presented signage proposed. The <br /> Committee said the sign looks great, but due to by-law requirement applicant was told he would have <br /> to go to Board of Appeals for approval since Design Review Committee can only approve signage <br /> with 20 square feet limit; and Board of Appeals can approve up to 40 square feet. <br /> Mr. Donovan said he was appearing to determine whether awning had to be approved. Committee <br /> informed him that since it was a simple awning and contained no signage he did not need any <br /> approval. <br /> Conclusion: Signage Stamped approved by Design Review, and notify Planning Board of <br /> decision. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Minutes of October 23, 2008 were approved. <br /> Adjournment...This portion of Design Review Meeting was adjourned at 8:40 a.m. so that the <br /> Committee could reconvene for a combined meeting with the Plan Review Committee. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> i <br /> n Giliberti <br /> ording Secretary <br />
