Minutes of Combined Meeting of ✓ , � <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and {- <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Design Review Members Present: Tom O'Hara, and Bob Nelson. <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Richard Stevens, Building Inspector <br /> Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector <br /> Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Ben Perry, Animal Control Officer <br /> Audience: Michael Richardson — Board of Selectmen <br /> Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. <br /> Ashers Heights Subdivision <br /> Modification of their Planning Board Special Permit <br /> Language Only <br /> Representative — Mark Lima <br /> Mark Lima appeared and stated they want to eliminate the water testing provision and eliminate <br /> requirement to limit lawns to 1,000 square feet of grass. Highlights of the discussion included the <br /> following: <br /> Tom Fudala noted that they.have to go to Public Hearing to modify Special Permit. <br /> • Water monitoring was a Board of Health requirement. <br /> • Water testing hasn't been done for many years. <br /> • Once streets were taken over by Town, there isn't much Home Owners Association has to do. <br /> They have street lights in the subdivision so Association has to stay involved. <br /> • Glen Harrington asked how long after the developer turned property over to the Association did <br /> they continue water monitoring: Mr. Lima said to his knowledge it was last done about 5 years <br /> ago. <br /> • Roads involved: Carlton Drive, Hanson Drive, and everything in between. <br /> • Network of monitoring wells so easement to Town to be able to monitor wells. Tom Fudala <br /> recommends wells and easements stay in place to be accessible to the Town. <br /> Motion: Glen Harrington motioned to delete the water quality monitoring program but to have <br /> the wells and easements maintained for Town access for Ashers Heights Special Permit. <br /> Richard Stevens seconded this motion. <br /> Discussion: Tom Fudala recommended amending the motion to add that the 1,000 square feet <br /> of grass limitation requirement be retained. <br /> Motion: Glen Harrington motioned to accept the motion as amended; Tom Fudala seconded <br /> the amended motion. <br /> Roll Call Vote of Design Review: All voted "yes". <br /> Roll Call Vote of Plan Review: All voted "yes". <br />
