BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TI"UTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1985 <br /> At 7:38 p.m. on 'Wednesday, February 20, 1985, the Board of <br /> Appeals held a meeting at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members <br /> present and acting throughout were: Manuel Costa, Michael i'iakunas, <br /> William Hanrahan and Thomas Sexton. Also- present was Doug Boyd. <br /> g�rqf-ory Jon Willis - requested a Variance under Section 7.4 of the <br /> Land Space Requirements for permission to vary the 40 ' road <br /> setback requirements on property located on the Corner Lot #117 - <br /> ighview Ave. , Hilltop Rd. , Bria.rwood Estates, ,�iashpee, F..ass. <br /> 'Tr. 'Willis represented the Alloring's in this matter. Nr. <br /> Willis went on to explain that there was a topography problem <br /> due to the fact the land slopes and there is a grade problem. <br /> In addition to this the Board had accepted letters from Raymond <br /> K. Loughlin, Ed. D. , Psychologist and James L. ':icGuire, N1 .D. <br /> ?c.r. Boyd had viewed the property and felt that there was <br /> a topography problem. Both Mr. Boyd and i4r. Willis had provided <br /> the Board with photographs of the property. Attached to these <br /> minutes are copys of the letters from both doctors. <br /> ,1r. Hanrahan made a notion to grant the Variance of 14 feet <br /> finding the hardship to be both topographical and medical, Mr. <br /> Sexton seconded the motion all agreed. <br /> Osterville Cheese Shod AZ ?/a The Gourmet i+iarket .lace - requested <br /> a Special Permit under Section 6 . 3 of the .Land Use Requirements <br /> for permission to add a limited dining area for patrons on property <br /> located at Deer Crossing, Route 28, Ylashpee, :;ass. <br /> 1r. Burton explained that he wanted to provide a limited <br /> dining area for patrons with 5 tables and 22 seats. ;VIr. Burton <br /> continued that the plates, cups and such would all be disposable. <br /> Mr. Burton also mentioned he discontinued the sale of ice cream. <br /> Mr. Costa asked if he had a beer and wine license. Mr. Burton <br /> told the Board that it.was a package store license. <br /> Mr. Sexton asked what percent of his business was take out. <br /> Mr. Burton told the Board that it was about 50% of his business. <br />
