<br />Town of Mashpee <br />Mashpee High School <br />500 Old Barnstable Road <br />Mashpee, MA 02649 <br />Annual Town Meeting <br />Monday, May 4, 2026 <br /> <br />Town Meeting convened at 8:11PM <br />Voter Present: 477 <br />Quorum: 0 <br /> <br />Barnstable, ss: <br />Greetings to the Constables of the Town, <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summon <br />the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the <br />Mashpee High School on Monday, the 4th day of May 2026 at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes: <br />To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant: <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Wyman-Colombo <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to dispense with the reading of the Annual Town Meeting warrant <br />articles. <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:12PM <br /> <br /> <br />Article 1 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to accept the reports of the Town officers, or take any other action <br />relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Select Board <br /> <br />Explanation: The 2025 Annual Town Report in which the reports of Town officers are presented is <br />available at the Town Meeting and at the Town Hall. <br /> <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Weeden <br /> <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 1 as printed in the warrant, with the exception <br />of the phrase “or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes 305 to 16 at 8:12PM <br /> <br /> <br />
