Before the frame of any building is covered with any interior wall covering the Building Inspector shall b e notified, and inspection shall be made by him before said wall covering is applied. Section 4. New 11aterials and M@thods . All new materials and methods of construction, devices and equipment may be approved by the Building Inspector for use in Building by the procedure herein provided when they are approved to be the equal of those specifically required by this code ; t,r or ,he shall adopt the recommbrndations: ' romi ulgated' by, the Board of Standards in: the Massachusetts Department of Publics Safety.: . Section 5 . Sewage . A cesspool or other means of a sewage disposal may ; I be constructed only after a permit is secured from the Building Inspector, z subject to the rules of the Board of Health. Section 7. Enforcement . aF Para. 1. This code shall be administered by the Building Inspector . ` Para. 2 . Stop V-'ork Oder whenever the provisions of this code or the plans and specifications approved thereunder are not complied with, a stop work order shall be served on the owner or his representative by the Building Inspector or his employee, and a copy thereof may be posted at the side of the construction. Such stop work order shall not be removed except by,written notice of the Building Inspector after satisfactory evidence has been supplied that the violation has been corrected . Failure to comply with such stop work order shall constitute a violation of this code . Section 8. Board of Appeals . Para. 1 . A Board of Hppeals shall be appointed by the Selectmen to ,r consist of three members . All members shall be residents of the Town of Mashpee and shall riot be actively engaged in the building trades . The appointments first made shall be for the term. of three years . Vacancies shall. be filled by the Board of Selectmen for the i.inexpired term. No mem- ber shall act in any in which he feels he is disqualified, in which case the remaining members shall designate a substitute . Every decision of the B oard shall be in writing, and shall require the assent of at least two members and shall be a matter of public record. Para. 2 . Any person aggrieved by a refusal of the Building Inspector to issue a permit, or by a decision of the Building Inspector made under the provisions of this code , may appeal to the Board of Appeals . The Board of Appeals shall hold a public hearing thereon and render a decision. They, shall make rules for such hearings , and publish notice thereof. Section 9. Penalty. Any person or persons viol�;.ting any provisions of this code who do not within a reasonable time rectify such violation shall be fined not more than twenty dollars for each offense .
