MINUTES April 7, 1999 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a variance of 12'from the proposed leaching <br /> facility to the existing well of house #18 and a variance of 5'from the sideline <br /> setback. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> 7. Perc extension request: 97 Highland Street: <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "The applicant is requesting an extension of the perc test <br /> that was performed in 1985." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. <br /> Motion denied. <br /> 8. Emergency failure certification: 455 Cotuit Road. Board members forwarded <br /> their signatures to the "Emergency Failure Certification" form. <br /> Emergency failure certification: 50 South Sandwich Road. Board members <br /> forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency Failure Certification" form. <br /> Emergency failure certification: 14 Hickory Circle Board members forwarded <br /> their signatures to the "Emergency Failure Certification" form. <br /> 9. Seasonal sticker fee: <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "When we passed the new sticker fee, we didn't consider <br /> whether we should leave the seasonal sticker where it is or raise it by a similar <br /> amount. It's currently $50.00." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to raise the seasonal sticker fee to $75.00. Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Variance Request: 24 Bluff Avenue <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance of 50' from the reserve leaching to the <br /> existing well of 28 Bluff Avenue. Also being requested is a variance of 42'from <br /> the active leaching to the existing well of 28 Bluff Avenue. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variance of 50'from the reserve leaching and <br /> 42' from the active leaching to the existing well of 28 Bluff Avenue. Mr. Ball <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Transfer Station RFP: Mr. McQuaid stated, "I've spoken with Mike Scippione of <br /> Weston & Sampson and we should have the final RFP for the transfer station <br /> operation ready by Monday or Tuesday (April 12th or 13th). <br /> SEMASS: Mr. McQuaid also stated, "I met with the Otis Board of Managers this <br /> morning and we've got our figures in line as far as which way to go with <br /> SEMASS and the final approach to our problem with our client agreement will <br /> be resolved within two weeks." <br />
