MINUTES April 13, 2000 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 83 Wintergreen Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the leach pit is full and that instead of installing in <br /> the reserve location, 2 500-gallon drywells with 3' of stone needs to be installed. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the emergency failure certification <br /> form. <br /> 35 The Hacking Circle <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the cesspool is full and needs to be replaced with a <br /> 1500-gallon tank, distribution box and 3 500-gallon drywells with 3' stone. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the emergency failure certification <br /> form. <br /> 34 Deer Ridge Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the leach pit is full and that the reserve pit should <br /> be installed per the Title V plan. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the emergency failure certification <br /> form. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Complaint <br /> Mr. Gary Pearson filed a complaint with the Board regarding being overcharged <br /> for a load of brush at the transfer station. <br /> Mr. Ball stepped down from discussion on this matter. <br /> Mr. Cram stated that he feels that there are two sides to every story and that he <br /> would like to hear from both sides before any action is taken. <br /> b. 266 Monomoscov Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid and Board members decided to postpone discussion and decision <br /> on this matter until all Board members have the opportunity to review the <br /> information on file. <br /> C. Illegal Dumping <br /> Mr. McQuaid gave a brief history on an illegal dumping situation on Great Hay <br /> Road. He indicated that the situation is still on-going with regard to clean up <br /> and liability and should be continued. Board members agreed to continue this <br /> item for two weeks. <br /> d. Fish Analysis Conclusions <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> APPOINTMENT• Cape & Islands Engineering re: Kidney Dialysis Center <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering was in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br />
