MINUTES May 10, 2001 7 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> e. Letter of resignation: Administrative Secretary <br /> Administrative Secretary Lucy Burton submitted a letter of resignation to the <br /> Board. Ms. Burton stated in her letter that she is resigning in order to spend more <br /> time with her children. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to accept the resignation of Ms. Burton with sincere regrets. <br /> Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> Mr. Santos further motioned to continue to pursue the clerical union position <br /> upgrade to Administrative Assistant from Administrative Secretary. Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> f. Recycling hauling by Coastal Waste Management <br /> Mr. Ball stated that Coastal Waste Management would like to haul the recyclables <br /> from the transfer station at a lower price than what the town is currently paying. <br /> Board members agreed to have Mr. Cassanelli submit prices to haul the <br /> recyclables. <br /> g. Repair Policy <br /> Mr. Santos stated that he would like to have abutters notified of septic repairs. Mr. <br /> Doherty stated that a repair is usually an improvement over the existing system <br /> and therefore is not necessary to notify the abutters. Mr. Ball stated that the <br /> Board could address this on a case by case basis. Board members agreed to <br /> further review this policy. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Being no further business, Mr. Santos motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:37 p.m., <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> yLes llysubmitted,.
