MINUTES June 14, 2001 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 13. _Request for variance extension- Stratford Ponds Pool <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance to only inspect the swimming pool twice <br /> daily as has been granted in the past. Ms. Warden indicated that she has <br /> inspected the semi-public outdoor swimming pool at Stratford Ponds <br /> Condominiums and found no violations. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to grant the variance request with the stipulation that a <br /> revised cover letter is submitted actually requesting the variance rather than <br /> "assuming" that it will be granted. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> 14. FYI - Mobil "On the Run" conditions compliance <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 15. Variance request- 14 Fawn Lane <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 4'from the basement to the tank with <br /> the stipulation that a polypropylene liner is applied to the bulkhead wall. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the variance as requested in a cover letter from <br /> Brenda M. Schmit dated June 7. 2001. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Recycling Committee <br /> Mr. Santos recommended that the Recycling Committee be disbanded due to <br /> the lack of a quorum since January. Mr. Santos indicated that he and member <br /> Stephanie Jones were the only members in attendance. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to disband the Recycling Committee. Mr. Ball seconded <br /> the motion. Motion passed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> a. Update re: 72 Old Colony Drive <br /> Ms. Warden updated Board members on the landlord/tenant issue at 72 Old <br /> Colony Drive. Board members acknowledged the update. <br /> Being no further business, Mr. Santos motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:36 p.m., <br /> Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4Resetfully submitted, <br /> Lucy B.
