7
stated that account number 336 should have stayed with the BOH. The account
pays for the bimonthly costs of the transfer station and the landfill engineering
services. It should have probably been split. But, because the trash budget was
approved at the Town Meeting and it was one budget they probably couldn't do
that. She wasn't sure what the procedures would be.
Mr. Ball then stated that if the money was available the BOH should get two more
quotes.
Ms. Warden agreed that it was available.
Mr. Santos said that the BOH is mandated by DEP to do these services. The thing
is if the BOH can keep the bids from all three under $25,000.00. If all three are
over $25,000.00 they have to submit, post it as a ? He knew that because of what
happened in Barnstable. The reason why Barnstable got around it was because
they did an addendum. The company was still going after DEP to get a reduction
in monitoring.
8. Letter from J Vaccaro (Pres. Little Neck Bay Assn.) re: Ancient Burial Ground
(Mizzenmast)
Ms. Warden stated that she met with Mr. Vaccaro and the problem should be
resolved within a few weeks.
9. ROD to conduct Site prep. Activities for Fort Greer
Board acknowledged the receipt of this letter.
10. Request for Massage Therapist License - Reva Joly
Ms. Warden stated that she called the number of the Muscular Therapy Institute,
Inc. She had 900 hours of training.*Ms. Warden then asked if"Reiki" was taught.
The facility stated that there was 100 hours of training in that particular
discipline. Ms. Warden was impressed with the school and it's personnel. Ms.
Warden recommended approval of the Massage Therapist License for Ms. Joly.
Mr. Ball made a motion to grant approval for the license. Mr. Santos seconded it.
Motion to grant passed.
11. Emergency Repair Certifications:
8 Tracy Lane
Ms. Warden indicated that there was evidence of hydraulic failure. (The septic
tank had recently overflowed.) The intent is to install three 500-gallon dry wells
with 4' of stone and a new D-box. There is a need to check for abutting well
locations.
Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure Certification
form.
26 Valley Road
Ms. Warden indicated that the leach pit was full to overflowing. The intent is to
install two 500-gallon dry wells, a new D-Box and 4' of stone.
