TOWN OF MASHPEE
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
December 10, 1997
The Design Review Committee met at 6: 30 p.m. on Wednesday,
December 10, 1997 at the Lower Level of Mashpee Town Hall.
Committee Members Present: William Hauck, Ex Officio;
Thomas F. O'Hara, Acting Chairman.
Absent: Patrick Coffey, Ed Govoni, Mary LeBlanc
1. Mashpee Industrial Park Trust 6 Sprint Spectrum
Attorney Patrick Butler, representing the trust, explained he
had met with staff members of the Cape Cod Commission to
ensure the project is in compliance with the development
agreement. The site plan was reviewed in detail. It was
noted the size of the building was reduced from the previous
plan. Open space, buffers, landscaping specs and septic
system were reviewed. There will be a fence erected around
the tower and a buffer zone maintained. The building
material will be painted cinder block. A computer-generated
photo showed what the tower will look like.
According to the plan, natural habitats and a kettle hole will
be maintained; there will be minimum disturbance on the lot.
It was requested that Ms. LeBlanc be consulted regarding the
landscaping.
Incubator Lot #21 will be combined with the tower lot in the
future. Road runnage will be piped away. Ms. LeBlanc should
review the landscaping plan on this lot also.
Meeting adjourned at 7 : 05 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Jane A. Pierce,
Recording Secretary
