Finance Committee Minutes <br /> March 10 , 1987 <br /> Page 2 . <br /> Article #5 seeks town approval to transfer $3 , 000 to the <br /> Expense Account of the Board of Water Commissioners . This would <br /> be for tools and supplies , equipment and to Falmouth for fire <br /> hydrants . This money would come from three different sources : <br /> Town Planner clerical salary expense - $2 , 300 ; Conservation <br /> Officer salary account , $300 ; and Park & Recreation Director <br /> and Assistant salary account , $400 . Finance Committee voted and <br /> approved Article #5 . <br /> Article #6 seeks town approval to transfer $6 , 229 . 08 to the <br /> Executive Secretary salary account . This money would be transferred <br /> from three sources : Selectmen clerical salary account , $5 ,450. 68 ; <br /> town hall maintenance salary account , $433 . 78 ; and Revenue Sharing <br /> account , $344 . 62 . Article #6 was approved by the Finance Committee . <br /> Article #8 requires no funds . It seeks town approval to <br /> exchange a parcel of land containing approximately 40 , 000 square <br /> feet for another parcel of land containing 40 , 000 square feet . <br /> Karl F . and Dolores G . Mills had their home built on town land <br /> in error next to their lot . This would be an even exchange and <br /> would afford the Mills some piece-of-mind . The Finance Committee <br /> members approved Article #8 . <br /> Article #9 seeks to transfer $20 , 500 to the Interest on <br /> Temporary Loans Account . The money would come from three sources : <br /> $17 , 279 . 04 from Revenue Sharing ; $1 , 220 . 96 from the Health Agent <br /> and Assistant Salary Account ; and $"2 , 000 from the DPW Garage Bond <br /> Issue Principal Account . Finance Committee voted and approved <br /> Article #9 . <br /> Article #10 seeks town approval to appropriate and transfer <br /> $10 , 000 to the Assessor ' s Expense Account . The Finance Committee <br /> members and the Selectmen discussed the funding of this Article . <br /> It was agreed that if this Article were funded totally from the <br /> Council on Aging Director ' s Salary Accountthere would be no funds <br /> in that account and they could not fill the position . It was noted <br /> that the job description for the Director ' s position was not yet <br /> complete and it was believed that the position would not be filled <br /> till the earliest possible date of June 1 . It was agreed by the <br /> Finance Committee that the funds would come from the Council on <br /> Aging Director ' s Salary Account and that the position would be <br /> filled on July 1 , 1987 . Finance Committee members voted and <br /> approved Article #10 . <br /> Article #11 is seeking town approval to borrow $8 , 700 for <br /> engineering and architectoral services , for the new elementary <br /> school. . 5478 cash is needed for this Article . Finance Committee <br /> members voted approval of Article # 11 . <br />
