Mr. Goggin felt that the Committee should keep the 20 <br /> increases out of their recommendations, keep it a separate line <br /> item. The Finance Committee recommendations are based upon the PAP <br /> figures. The Committee reviewed page 4 which is the worksheet <br /> entitled Finance Committee Recommendations FY95. They agreed that <br /> these following departments were fine as printed on the worksheet <br /> dated February 9, 1994. Accounting $106,045; Arts Council $250; <br /> Animal Control $ 38 , 821 ; Conservation $75 , 547 ; <br /> Elections/Registration $35, 358; Finance Committee $10,000; <br /> Harbormaster $37,440; Health-TRASH $564,839; Herring Warden $2,500; <br /> Historical Commission $4 ,400; Moderator $100; Planning Department <br /> $106, 338; Planning Board $10,000; Appeals Board $12,172 ; Public <br /> Assistance $15,000; Reserve Fund $100,000; School $5,750 ,000 (Ed <br /> Bill) ; Falmouth Tuition $1,450,000; Cape Cod Tech $472 , 340; Sewer <br /> Commission $100; Shellfish $39 ,477; Town Clerk $61,607; Utilities <br /> $40,000. <br /> Ms. Greelish mentioned that the Hydro Geo study under the Board of <br /> Health Departments budget could be removed from the sheet. The <br /> Board of Health was going to rescind bonding authority and it was <br /> being removed from Anne Shaw's schedule. There was also a question <br />• about the figures under temporary borrowing and the retirement <br /> accounts. <br /> Ms. Greelish asked the Committee whether or not they felt the town <br /> needed a full time Harbormaster. The Committee agreed that NO they <br /> did not feel it was essential . <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> The Committee agreed to send a memo to Marilyn Farren, Personnel <br /> Department, requesting that she provide them with a job <br /> description, grade and title for the position that was funded for <br /> the Town Clerk at the October Town Meeting. They requested a memo <br /> be sent to the Executive Secretary/Board of Selectmen in regard to <br /> a Capital Improvement Committee and also that a memo be sent to the <br /> Treasurer in regard to the Capital Replacement Account. (A copy of <br /> these memos are attached to the Minutes for your records. ) <br /> Ms. Greelish, who is liaison to the School Department, sent a memo <br /> to Dr. DeMoura giving him some background information on previous <br /> budgets and some budget information providing the high school opens <br /> in 1996. This memo also included information on budgets for FY97 , <br /> FY98 and FY99. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br />• Mr. Goggin stated that he would speak to Mr. Whritenour as to the <br /> status of contracts.
