Personnel Board Minutes page 2 September 8, 1975
•
In response to a letter from Chief Bingham, dated September
£31 1975, a letter will be sent to him asking him to advise the
Board of any approved changes reflecting the increased hourly
figures he indicates for Special Officers Rocheteau and Keliinui.
Also, concerning his request for a salary increase for Special
Officer Michael J . Ferrigno, the Board will ask the Chief for
an explanation of Ferrignots basic starting salary before con-
sidering this merit raise.
Concerning the request to hire a Maintenance/Groundsman to
replace the CETA employee who was filling this position at the
Indian Museum, the Board will discuss with Selectmen the need,
considering the time of year.
Re the part-time wire inspector position which has been
advertised, the Board feels we should have a job description
for this position, indicating educational and/or experience
requirements, as well as a list of duties. The Board assumes
this position requires a Master Electrician and we have received
applications from no one thus qualified.
Regarding the pending Fire Contract, the Attorneys Kowal
and Rossman met sometime last week withthe Firefighter' s Assoc-
iation for negotiations.
• New stationery is needed for the Board and will be ordered.
Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
10: 50 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
jsa
h • I
