UNOFFICIAL <br /> • TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> Minutes of Meeting, June 16, 1975 7:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: R. Maxim, C. Brown (since no quorum, these minutes are unofficial) <br /> Varden Kelly, Treasurer's Office, attended the meeting to <br /> request a cecision of the Board as to his official starting date with the town. <br /> He said that he was told in 1973 that the Board at that time accepted 1971 as <br /> the date of his employment, for vacation and benefit purposes. Mr. Maxim told <br /> Mr. Kelly that this matter would be brought to the attention of the Board at <br /> its next meeting. <br /> Mr. David Emory, Friends of Indian Museum, and Mrs. Amelia Bingham <br /> attended to discuss several problems within the Museum; namely, that Joseph Centeio <br /> has worked 32 hours in excess of his regularly scheduled work hours. Mrs. Bingham <br /> feels that this is of an emergency nature at this particularly important time of <br /> year. Personnel. Board will send a letter to Board of Selectmen recommending that <br /> (a) Mr. Centeio be payed for 32 hours work 02.90 per hour ($92.80) and (b) <br /> Permission be granted to employ a part-time worker to take care of the grounds- <br /> work through June 30, with the expenditure not to exceed the balance of the <br /> appropriated budget. <br /> Also, Mrs. Bingham will send a request for leave of absence for <br /> Agnes Gorton, her clerk, and request that we hire a part-time clerk. <br /> Having no farther business the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Res pact fully.-submitted, <br /> jsa <br /> a <br /> • <br />
