Brown, K. .Parolski <br /> ALSO <br /> PRESENT: -Wilma Graham, Amelia Miller, Paul Mills, Jerry DePalma <br /> Wilma Graham attended as observer, pending her apprintment to' ttie" Board: <br /> Jerry DePalma attended to discuss lifeguard applicants for 1976 summer season. <br /> Season opens June 19 through Labor Day, September 7, 1976. Board voted to accept <br /> the following as guards: Jean Naegelin (head guard) , James Mueller, Dorothy Princi, , , <br /> Carl Peters, Mr. Laurie Green., A letter to this effect will be sent to the Board <br /> of Selectmen. u <br /> Interviews were held for the position of Curator of the Mashpee Wampanoag <br /> Indian Museum. Amelia Miller and Paul Mills attended as representatives of the <br /> Board of Governors of the Museum. Interviewed' were Janet_ Hendricks, who withdrew <br /> her application, Margaret Hempenius and Douglas .Horriig. It"was decided that no <br /> further action would be taken regarding the recommendations for this position pending <br /> additional interviews. <br /> Mr. Leonardi will report to the Board of Selectmen the status of this matter. <br /> Concerning the lack of Town applicants, "it was stated by Mr. Mills that it was <br /> his opinion that the salary level discouraged many people in the Town from applying. <br /> When further interviews are set up, Board of Governors and Indian Council will <br /> be advised of time and date. <br /> It was suggested that a meeting be held between Board of' Governors, Board of <br /> Selectmen, and Personnel Board to discuss the Museum situation. <br /> Communication from the Board of Selectmen, was.no.ted regarding the physical <br /> examination for George Costa scheduled on June 28, 1976 at Massachusetts General <br /> Hospital. <br /> Representatives of "the Personnel Board will meet in Boston on Thursday, June <br /> 10, 1976 with Attorney Kowal to go over -the impending police contract and subsequent <br /> to that meeting a meeting will be arranged by the Board and the Mashpee Police <br /> Association to finalize the contract. <br /> Interviews for one full time police officer will be held Tuesday evening, <br /> June 15, 1976 from 7:30 through 9:45 p.m. Chief Bingham will be invited to attend. <br /> Mr. Brown mentioned that new application forms, the format of which is to <br /> be Tproyed by Town Counsel, should have date on which application becomes void, <br /> .Minutes of meeting June 1, 1976 were .accepted as read. - <br /> Haying no further business it was voted to adjourn the meeting•at 11 p.m. <br /> jsa <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />
