The Mashpee Personnel Board Meeting of May 9, 1977 was called to order by Frank Leonardi, Chairman with members Wilma Graham and John Peters attending. Minutes of April 18, 1977 accepted as submitted. Vacations approved as follows: Frederick Peters----4/29,4/30,5/1/77 Wilson H. Landers---6/17,6/18,6/19/77 Gregory Jon Willis--5/3',5/4/77 James D. Volpe------5/7,5/8.5/9,5/10 and 5/15/77 Marilyn Hendricks---6/6--6/17/77 (10 days) George F. Green,Jr.-5/26,5/27/77 George Green--------5/16--5/20/77 Letter sent to Chief Bingham requesting an up-to-date job description of Policewoman Matron. Letter received from the Conservation Commission noted and filed pertaining Ronald Pocknett, Conservation Officer. Communication sent to Dorothy Studley informing her that an.up-toc'date job description for Policewoman-Matron will soon be forthcoming and then this Board will have something definitive within the next two weeks. Interviewing for the position of Maintenance arranged for Tuesday, May 17, 1977. Advised Frank Hicks, Executive Secretary that Mr. Dove is not entitled to a merit step raise increase until July 1, 1977. Requested Jerry DePalma to meet with the Board on Tuesday May 17, 1977 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss Beach Personnel. Sent a letter to Chief Bingham informing him that this Board concurs with him to hire Doris Hendricks to fill the position of Clerk-typist on the basis of maximum of 19 hours per week. Effective May 29, 1977 approved merit step raise for Marcia Ducharme--new level to be Grade 6 Step 4. Letter sent to the Bargaining Committee for the Fire Dept, requesting that they meet with us on Tuesday, May 17, 1977 at 8:45 P.M. to further discuss the new proposed Fire Contract. 1.
