Access Playground Equipment. A brief discussion took place regarding <br />expansion of Rec Bldg. <br />Summer Programs - Gus passed out a list of the upcoming summer programs <br />that will be included in the Summer Brochure. <br />Coalition Activities - Gus mentioned 60 free Paw Sox tickets will be available. <br />Gus mentioned that they would be offered to Circle of Caring and Youth Center. <br />Maureen mentioned having a lottery. There will also be Patriot's Training Camp <br />offered. <br />A Grant was applied for to offer Tennis Lessons to Special Needs Children. Rob <br />Miceli will be teaching. <br />Beaches - Meeting with Gus, Police Chief for Wednesday, June 19. Swim lessons <br />will also be offered at South Cape Beach. Tribal Council stickers should be <br />available to Tribal Council Members shortly. June 29th beaches will be offically <br />opened. Speed bumps will be put in shortly. Interviews for Gate Attendants and <br />lifeguards are taking place. lifeguards and Gate Attendants will be rotating <br />beaches. <br />Special Events - Gus discussed the mixup regarding who would be running the <br />Oktoberfest and Country Jamboree. <br />Financial Aid/Multiple Children Discount - Gus mentioned the situation with <br />more than one child regarding offering a family discount. A discussion took <br />place and it was determined that a 10% discount would be offered with two or <br />more children. Maureen Paxton made motion to approve a 10% discount with two <br />or more children enrolled long-term (1 month or more) in a child-care <br />program, or for two or more sessions/4 or more weeks Camp Program. The 104'0 <br />will be taken off the total. (This will include vacation weeks.) Pat Riley <br />seconded. Motion carried. <br />VI Adiournment - Terrie Cook made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:55 PM. Pat <br />Riley seconded. Motion carried. <br />NEXT MEETING: Tuesday, July 9, 6:30 PM.
