r- <br />3. " Friends of status - No new work has been done <br />4. EOCD Application - Gus mentioned equipment should be delivered this week. <br />(Approximately $30,000) Town will have to install this equipment and, it will have <br />to be stored. Gus is looking for a location. <br />5. Special Events - Oktoberfest - Gus mentioned that project is coming along. <br />Sheila Arnold feels that Pet Show needs to be advertised. <br />6. Ropes Course - Gus received a memo from Chief Przybylek regarding the <br />Ropes Course. He would like to turn the operation over to Leisure Services. <br />Gus past out a copy of this memo dated Septemer 23. A discussion took place <br />regarding responsibilities of overseeing this Ropes Course. This would enable <br />other organizations and groups to utilize this. Gus is concerned about site <br />manager and repairs and maintenance cost. <br />7. Recvcling Project - Gus met with Cheryl Shepley and will be meeting with her <br />again to work out how this will work out. A list is being put together on what <br />Quonset Hut needs to be able to operate. Cheryl Shepley is looking for more help <br />from other parents. Perhaps a flyer will go out or news article to obtain more help. <br />Pat Riley asked if Quonset Hut is heated. Gus said that it was not but that was one <br />thing that was being looked into. Pat Riley thought that perhaps operating only 3 <br />seasons. Gus feels it will be springtime before things get going. <br />V. New Business <br />1. Update on Revolving Account - Gus passed out Article 5 which will be at Town <br />Meeting. This covers wages and benefits for Leisure Services programs. In order <br />to have Peg Geary full time, she comes under Section 53E 1/2. <br />2. Fall Programming - Registrations are now being done on the computer. <br />VI. Other Business - Gus discussed items in Agreement which mentioned writing on <br />blackboard. Terrie Cook said that she would bring this up. <br />VII. Adjournment - Sheila Arnold made motion to adjourn the meeting. Terrie Cook <br />seconded. Motion carried.
