4. EOCD Application - <br />All playground equipment is in and at DPW. Still will need to be put on site. Handicap <br />equipment shipment had to be sent back because it was damaged in transit. <br />Rec Building - Still waiting to hear on expansion Grant for Rec Building. This includes <br />funding for full day child care program. We would get vouchers so children could attend <br />programs while expansion is taking place. <br />5. Report - Oktoberfest - Huge success. Suggestions or next year - more vendors and <br />more German Food. <br />Halloween Parade - 120 participants. Biggest year yet! <br />6. Ropes Course -Because of busy schedule, no finalizing of agreement has been made. <br />Police Department will have individual as site coordinator to make sure ropes course is <br />safe. Dare group and high risk youth group will be scheduling and will let Gus know. We <br />will then be able to develop some programs for the Kids at the school and some of out own <br />instructors. <br />7. Quonset Hut - Health Dept has taken responsibility to get Quonset Hut in shape (power <br />wash, landscape, windows, door). We will try to open it up in spring, and it will be a <br />three -season project. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />Working on winter programs. Waiting to find out what the availability will be for the High <br />School. We would like to hold computer courses, an adult theater program, CNA program <br />is now certified. <br />Gas passed out sheet from Revolving account courses. If anyone has suggestions on any <br />program, please drop note or call office. Sheila Arnold and Kim Whitney discussed having <br />Holiday Best Dressed Door contest. Pat Riley mentioned he would be interested in <br />instructing a computer course. Linda Young is interested in doing a painting class. Next <br />Rec plan meeting will be held at 4:30 PM at Town Hall on Wednesday, November 13. A <br />5:30 meeting to discuss door contest will follow. <br />VI. OTHER BUSINESS - No other business was discussed. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT - Terrie Cook made motion to adjourn.
