n <br />t <br />�i <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS - <br />1. Neighborhood Support Coalition - Dept. of SS Grant looking for office space. <br />A new coordinator, Andrea Strout, was hired. <br />2. Family Dance - Friday, February 14 - DJ, will welcome new coordinator, <br />announce grants. <br />3. Ethnic Fair - being planned for March 15, Saturday. Will be contacting groups <br />to participate. <br />4. Park and Recreation Meeting - Information will be mailed on January 15. <br />5. Staff Meetings - Meetings are being held every other Thursday. Minutes will <br />also be mailed with above. Items such as "snow" days cancellations, etc. will be <br />addressed. <br />6. Spring/Summer Programs - J. Marr working on April - June. More adult <br />programs to be announced. Language and woodworking classes. Program highlights <br />distributed. Joleen suggested we try a survey again to determine what we really need in <br />programming. <br />VII. OTHER BUSINESS - <br />1. Human Services Committee -Met December 18, 1996 -is now an official <br />Committee of Town. Next meeting will be held January 29, 1997, at 10:00 AM at the <br />Senior Center. Nominations for leadership will be held at that time. Will be looking to <br />support appropriations at Town Meeting. <br />2. MACPAC - No meeting held at this time <br />3. Youth Center - Updated information on schedule. Will be hiring new Youth <br />Center Coordinator for 15 hours per week at $10.00 per hour. Niki is going to school full <br />time. Also looking for more responsibility from kids. Eventually it will be located at the <br />High School. <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT - Kim Whitney made a motion to adjourn. Terrie Cook <br />seconded.
