5. Syecial Events - Ethnic Fair had to be canceled due to lack of participation. It <br />will be rescheduled. Gus passed out copies of flyer that will be coming out shortly. <br />Summer brochure will be finished soon. We are having a special registration week. We <br />are keeping a list of individuals that call in and will compile. Computer programs will run <br />in the fall. <br />6. Revolving - Gus explained that the department is trying to get income and <br />expense accounts set up on the computer. Discussion took place on the revolving account. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />Youth Center Coordinator - Niki Mills is the Youth Center Coordinator. <br />2. Summer Planning - A - The Activities Center for 3-5 year olds will be held at the <br />Rec. Bldg. this year. Summer Camp will be held at the Quashnet School. This will allow <br />more than 22 children. <br />3. Beaches - Letters have been sent out to last year's life guards and gate attendants. <br />After March 15 we will need to advertise. We will need to replace those that do not return. <br />4. Special Events - Gus handed out a sheet which listed coming events. <br />VI. OTHER BUSINESS - <br />1. Human Services - Meeting held March 10 with various providers in town. <br />These are funded through the Health Department each year. That group will be making <br />recommendation at Town meeting. Trying to find out how effective each group is. <br />Approximately $69,000.00 worth of services for the town. <br />2. MAC -PAC - No report at this time. <br />3. Bldg. Supervisor - Gus went over incident report that Ben passed out. Many <br />evenings he cannot get into the building. Often when he does get in a meeting is already <br />taking place. Would like evening activities to take place in limited area of the school <br />building. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT - Linda Young made motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 PM. <br />Pat Riley seconded.
