• A concern of Dr. DeMoura's is 1 , 200 children going in the same entrance. The buses do not have to stop at the same place. The Committee discussed the options. The Committee reviewed the 151 site and discussed the relationship of this site to the proposed fine arts theater. Mr. Franceschi stated an issue will develop after feedback from appraisers as to how much land to take. The 151 site will require the town to take 50% more land to take the entire site vs. the other site. APPRAISALS Chairman Dinizio stated the Committee must identify what appraisal services it needs to get this to town meeting. He asked Mr. Franceschi for his suggestions. Mr. Franceschi stated they need to solicit proposals (from appraisers) . They must define the scope of services. Mr. Dinizio asked what services are needed beyond determining a range of values on both sites? Chairman Dinizio suggested asking town counsel what the Committee needs to make a decision for town meeting. At this point the • decision should involve town counsel as much as possible. Mr. Franceschi stated they must clarify if they are taking proposals or are taking bids. Chairman Dinizio will talk with the Executive Secretary, tell .him the Committee discussed this and agreed that it needs town counsel to assist and lead the Committee through this . The Committee agreed it would like him to develop an RFP to have someone help pick a site by giving an estimated cost to acquire and determine an estimated value for the site chosen by the Committee so there can be an article for town meeting. Bill Jones made a motion that the suggested RFP is submitted to the Executive Secretary and Town Counsel for the selection of an estimator/appraiser. Janice Mills seconded the motion.
