• Put your arms, legs or head out of the window <br /> • Throw anything out of the bus window <br /> • Engage in pushing,pulling or poking around on the bus <br /> • Bring animals or pets on the bus <br /> • Throw things on the school bus <br /> • Use profane or indecent language <br /> PROCEDURES FOR DRIVERS AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS <br /> • In case of any misconduct on a bus, the incident will be reported on the proper form to <br /> the school principal. The principal will contact the parent/guardian and a copy of the <br /> disciplinary action will be returned to the driver within three (3) school days. <br /> • In case of repeated misbehavior by the same student, the principal may suspend the <br /> student's transportation privileges with written notice to the parent/guardian. <br /> P P <br /> Parents/guardians and/or students will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the bus <br /> suspension. Bus suspension shall not exceed two (2) school days. <br /> • After a third offence a conference between the parents/guardians, student,principal <br /> and driver/contractor will be held. Bus suspension shall not exceed five (5) school <br /> days. <br /> • After a fourth offence a conference between the parents/guardians, student, principal <br /> and driver/contractor will be held. Bus suspension shall not exceed ten(10) school <br /> days. <br /> • After a fifth offense,bus privileges may be denied the student and the responsibility <br /> for transportation will then rest with the parent/guardian. <br /> Again, the above disciplinary measures are meant as a guide. <br /> A student may be denied transportation by the principal when, in his/her opinion, the <br /> student's behavior jeopardizes the health, welfare and safety of other students riding that <br /> bus. <br /> Parents/guardians will be held financially responsible for any defacing or damaging of the <br /> bus. <br /> Parents/guardians and students are to read these regulations. At the beginning of each <br /> school year, parents/guardians are asked to return the Student Bus Code of Ethics <br /> sign-off form at the back of this handbook indicating that the regulations have been read <br /> and understood. <br /> STUDENTS DRIVEN TO SCHOOL OR PICKED UP FROM SCHOOL <br /> AND PARKING DURING THE DAY <br /> It is required that parents/guardians observe the following drop off, parking, and pick-up <br /> procedures at KCC. <br /> 26 <br />
