Frank stated in his email the following
information:
"I checked with Betty Baker and they still have the original bronze plaque with the slight typo.
They are willing to give us this plaque.free of charge($700 value). Grafton will install it and
enhance the setting of the unit so it would be extremely difficult to remove, and said it would be
about$150.00 to$200.00 for this service. I informed him that we would make a decision very
soon on this as not to drag it out any further. Grafton needs acoess to the stone up to 40 feet so he
can use his diamond saw to set the plaque deeper and seal it from the crooks. Grafton believes
that there is agate that needs a key to enable him to get his truck and generator closer tote rock.
I would like to tell him to set a date before the bad weather sets in:and we would have to wait
until spring. Let's strike while the iron is hot this time and put this issue behind us."
Mike Cardeiro made a motion that the committee accept the gift of the bronze plaque with the
slight typo from Grafton Briggs, and male arrangements for Mr. Briggs to install the plaque in its,
original location, enhancing the setting of the unit so as to make it extremely difficult to remove.
Lance Lambros secorxied the motion.
