FOR MAY 2, 1988 TOWN MEETING Article 26 (Amended Version) To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Sewer Committee or Sewer Commissioners to secure the design and construction of a sewage, or combination sewage and septage treatment plant, pumping stations, sewer mains and other necessary facilities to provide sewer service to various portions of the Town, and furthermore, to authorize the construction of said plant on that parcel of land shown on the 1987 Mashpee Assessors ' Maps as Map 61 , Plot 3, subject to the approval of the Board of Health, said land currently being utilized for the Town sanitary landfill , septage lagoons and undeveloped woodlands , and turthermore to authorize and appropriate such amounts as may be necessary to fund the above items with the required funds to be expended from an "East Mashpee Sewer System Account", with said account to include any donations received toward said sewer facility design and construction and related items and any state and/or federal funds received for said desiqn and/or construction and related items and finally to authorize 6e Selectmen, Sewer Committee or Sewer Commissioners to apply for and accept any federal and/or state grants or the above items and to accept any applicable donations of money, ��-rvices , land or the like and to enter into any contracts and agreements which may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Article 27 To see if the Town will vote to remove a strip of land 30 feet in width Shown on a plan of land entitled "Proposed Strafford Ponds Sewer Connector from the care and custody of the Conservation Commission, Said land being a portion of 1987 Assessors' Map 46, Plot 63) and to transfer said land to the Sewer Committee or Sewer Commission for the purpose of constructing a sewer line thereon and furthermore to vote to petition the General Court, I necessary, to authorize and approve said removal of the above mentioned land from the care and Custody of the Conservation Commission, or take any other action thereon.
