These revenues are the apportioned State gas tax back to the <br /> cities and towns. The level funding of 1998 is anticipated to be the total funds available to <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate $446,419 to provide for road improvement <br /> projects in and for the Town, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90 of the <br /> Massachusetts General Laws. <br /> Motion passes at 10:10 p.m. <br /> Article 16 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds or borrow <br /> pursuant to Chapter 44 §7 (9) or other lawful authority$650,000 for the purchase of a Fire Aerial <br /> Truck, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Fire Department <br /> Explanation: This action authorizes borrowing for the purchase of an aerial ladder truck for the <br /> Fire & Rescue Department. This project has been recommended by the Capital Improvement <br /> Program Committee. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move the Town hereby appropriate the sum of $650,000 for the purchase of a Fire <br /> Aerial Truck, including the payment of all costs incidental and related thereto, and that to meet <br /> this appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, is hereby authorized to <br /> borrow said amount under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7(9) of the General Laws, or any <br /> other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor. <br /> Motion passes at 10:45 p.m. <br /> Town Meeting at adjourned 10:45 p.m. until Tuesday,May 2, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> i <br />
