Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 3 <br /> February 2, 1998 <br /> W B SINE S: <br /> Correspondence from Habitat for Humanity_: (continued) <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to move forward to identify a potential <br /> site for Habitat Humanity to construct an affordable home in the Town of <br /> Mashpee. Tom Fudala,the Town Planner will be requested to recommend <br /> suitable sites to the Board prior to the May Town Meeting. <br /> The Board has preference for the selected applicant to be a resident of <br /> the Town of Mashpee. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: <br /> None at this time. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Personnel Administrators Contract AnprovaL <br /> Future Agenda Item. <br /> Enhanced 911 System: <br /> The collective bargaining issue relative to the regionalized E-911 <br /> dispatch system will be placed as a future agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Assembly of Delegates Update: <br /> Selectman Caffyn,Mashpee's representative to the Assembly of Delegates <br /> indicated that a proposal is submitted before the Assembly relative to the use <br /> of excess funds. A public hearing is scheduled this month to further discuss <br /> this matter. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to lower the town's assessment for the <br /> following year, and/or return surplus funding back to the town. <br />
