' 4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> Monday, July 10, 2000 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Vanasse Hangen Brustlin—Change Order Approval <br /> In other business, Mr. Taylor recommended the Board approve the change <br /> order in the amount of$975 to Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. for <br /> additional work in the field for data collection and office preparation of <br /> base plans for the future Memorial Park. VHB broadened the survey <br /> effort along the project corridor. Work included a topographical survey of <br /> the open space targeted for the Memorial Park. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the change order in the <br /> amount of$975 to Vanasse Hangen Brustlin as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Bid—Cemetery Study Committee: <br /> Cemetery Study Committee Chairman Fred Blythe was present to <br /> recommend the Board accept the bid as received from BSC deemed <br /> advantageous for a cemetery study and associated preliminary design <br /> work. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept the proposal as <br /> received from BSC for the Cemetery Study for a sum not to exceed <br /> $29,000 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Mizzenmast Road Update: <br /> The Selectmen agreed to authorize the use of Town labor and equipment <br /> for there-burial process associated with Mizzenmast Road. It was noted <br /> that the work is contingent upon the material to be provided by the area <br /> residents and approval for use of said equipment and labor on private <br /> property. <br />
