9 . <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 8, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Cable Advisory Committee "Charge" and New Title for Consideration: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Cable Advisory Committee <br /> "Charge"and new title as dated in the memorandum of December 11, <br /> 2000. <br /> The name of the committee as proposed is the "Mashpee Cable TV and <br /> Advanced Technology Advisory Committee." The proposal is brought <br /> forth to the Board as we are entering a new decade under a new cable <br /> license and advanced technology. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the new committee <br /> title; Mashpee Cable TV and Advanced Technology Advisory <br /> Committee as proposed, and appoint Steve Buss, the Network <br /> Administrator to ex-officio status of said committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> The Town Administrator was authorized to make the necessary draft and <br /> title modifications for the Town bylaw. <br /> Selection of Community Facilities Plan Consultant: <br /> Fred Blythe, Community Facilities Committee brought forth a <br /> recommended Community Facilities Plan architectural consultant in <br /> response to the Request for Proposal. Three firms were presented in rank <br /> order for the Selectmen's consideration. It was noted that Town Meeting <br /> voted to appropriate funds for the study. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to authorize the Community <br /> Facilities Committee to enter into contract negotiations with <br /> Bargmann Hendrie and Archetype,Inc. to conduct the Community <br /> Facilities Plan study as recommended, and return to the Board of <br /> Selectmen for approval of said contract. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
