Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 20, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> DPW: <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works discussed the following issues with <br /> the Board of Selectmen; <br /> CDM Proposal: <br /> A break down of costs associated to the engineering consulting services of <br /> Camp Dresser& McKee, Inc. (CDM)relative to the Mashpee Heritage <br /> Park was submitted by the Director of Public Works in a memorandum <br /> addressed to the Selectmen dated May 14, 2002. It was noted that 200 to <br /> 300 hours of service would be utilized for a total sum not to exceed <br /> $20,000. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to accept the Agreement between <br /> Camp Dresser&McKee,Inc.(CDM)for work associated to Heritage <br /> • Park for a sum not to exceed, $20,000. The price quotations for <br /> consulting engineering as submitted in the memorandum of 5/14/02 <br /> shall be attached to said contract. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request to Extend Work on Route 28 Sidewalk: <br /> In order the complete the relocation of the drainage and related shoulder <br /> widening on Route 28, the Selectmen were requested to authorize the <br /> extension of construction from May 28, 2002 through June 13, 2002. This <br /> will allow the road surface to receive preliminary paving before the <br /> summer season. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to authorize the extension of <br /> construction project#32090,Mass Highway District#5 from May 28, <br /> 2002 through June 13,2002,Monday through Friday, completing all <br /> Friday afternoon work in the roadway by 3:00 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
