9 <br /> • Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 3, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Willowbend—Road Crossing License: <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> Bruce Besse, Willowbend Development Corporation was present to <br /> request the Selectmen approve a license agreement to allow Willowbend <br /> to cross Quinaquisset Road, a public way. <br /> Mr. Besse indicated that work related to the nine-hole expansion project <br /> would allow for the installation of large piping and communication <br /> conduit. <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works recommended approval. It was <br /> noted that the proposal would not interfere with future DPW work at the <br /> Quinaquisset Road location. <br /> • Motion made by Selectman Cahalan to approve the License <br /> Agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Willowbend <br /> Development Corporation to allow for the installation of water pipe <br /> and connection for irrigation and water transfer lines, and the <br /> installation of communication conduit as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters absent. <br /> Leisure Services Advisory Council—Update: <br /> Gus Fredericks, Leisure Services Director was present to update the <br /> Selectmen on activities of the Leisure Services Advisory Council. The <br /> nine member council is involved with the Heritage Park expansion project, <br /> the Quashnet Schools summer program planning and upcoming special <br /> events. <br /> Mr. Fredericks also discussed the membership of the Special Event <br /> Committee and upcoming community picnic and fireworks event to be <br /> held on July 1, 2002. The super swim is scheduled on June 29, 2002. <br /> Attaquin Park Beach Committee - Update: <br /> • The agenda topic was deferred at this time. <br />
