6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 29, 2004 <br /> Policy for Use of Heritage Park: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the policy proposal prepared by the Assistant <br /> DPW Director and Leisure Services Director proposed to govern the use <br /> of the fields at Heritage Park. A fee scheduled was also developed for the <br /> Board's review and approval. <br /> Amendments recommended by the Selectmen for the proposed policy for <br /> Use of Heritage Park include: <br /> Item#4 &#5: Reduce language, merge into one itemization. <br /> Add language relative to handicap motorized wheelchairs and scooters. <br /> Item#13E: Typo—Lightning <br /> Item#14: To shorten language; combine or list with#13 &#8 <br /> At direction of Leisure Service or DPW League officials shall be <br /> responsible for making decisions concerning the playing condition of the <br /> fields. <br /> Item 413: Smoking is not permitted on the property as per the Board of <br /> Health re ulg ation. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Policy for the Use <br /> of Heritage Park pending the above recommended changes. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request for Building Permit to Construct Dugouts at Heritage Park— <br /> Philip Robbins: <br /> Tim Cunningham Mashpee Little League was present to request the <br /> Selectmen approve the installation of two new dugouts at the Little <br /> League playing fields. The plan dated March 9, 2004 was approved by the <br /> Director of Public Works. The dugouts would be installed at no additional <br /> cost to the Town. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the building permit <br /> for the construction of dugouts at Heritage Park as described. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
