3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 12, 2004 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Mashpee Community Concert Committee, Inc. —Request for One-Day <br /> License: <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for the above referenced agenda topic. <br /> Representatives from the Mashpee Community Concert Committee were <br /> present to request the Selectmen approve a one-day wine and malt license <br /> for the annual Mashpee Night at the Pops concert to be held on Saturday, <br /> July 31, 2004 with a rain date of August 1, 2004 at Mashpee Commons. <br /> The popular event is a free concert by the Cape Symphony Orchestra that <br /> is followed by an outstanding fireworks display. <br /> The Selectmen were requested to waive all Town fees associated to the <br /> event with the exception of the cost for Police and Fire personnel. The <br /> MCCC is a non-profit entity. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the request of the <br /> Mashpee Community Concert Committee for a one-day wine and <br /> malt license on Saturday,July 31,2004 with a rain date of August 1, <br /> 2004, and waive all Town fees associated to the event with the <br /> exception of Police and Fire personnel. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters abstained. <br /> Mashpee Chamber of Commerce—Request for One-day License: <br /> Heidi Trottier, Mashpee Chamber of Commerce was present to request the <br /> Selectmen approve a one-day license for the Night of 100 Wines event <br /> under the festival tent at Mashpee Commons on Saturday, June 5, 2004 <br /> from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will benefit the Mashpee <br /> Chambers scholastic awards program and its community projects. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the request of the <br /> Chamber of Commerce for a one-day license for the Night of 100 <br /> Wines event on June 5,2004 in Mashpee Commons. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
