4.9_a3Y <br />Page 8 January 16, 1974 a 1lo* C <br />Article 25 continued <br />9.593 If any section, subsection, or other portion of this Section 9.5 <br />shall be adjudged invalid, the remainder of this Section 9.5 shall be deemed not <br />to be affected thereby and shall continue to be in full force and effect. <br />ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded that Article 25 be accepted as <br />corrected. 137 for, 17 opposed. Vote passed. <br />Amended as follows: <br />a. Para 9.531, change to read: "Single family detached dwelling structures;" <br />remainder of paragraph to be deleted. <br />b. Insert new paragraph: "9.532. Structures consisting of not more than <br />eight (8) attached dwelling units per structure;". <br />c. Para 9.585 A, second sentence, change to read: "In connection with each <br />Final Site Development Plan, there shall be submitted to and approved by the <br />Planning Board the plans and information required by Section 9.3825." <br />d. Para 9.484 A, last sentence, change to read: "Certificate(s) of <br />occupancy may be withheld until the construction as required in each section under <br />Section 9.3824 and other parts of Section 9.5, where said Sections are.applicable, <br />has been completed or provided for." <br />(NOTE: Underscore indicated added or changed wording.) <br />Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds <br />in the Treasury the total sum of $14,000.00, $3,000.00 to meet the Town's share of the <br />cost of C)apter 81 and $11,000.00 to meet the State's share of the cost of the work, <br />covering the calendar year January L'through December 31, 1974, or take any other <br />action thereon. The State's amount, when reimbursed, will be returned to surplus <br />revenue. <br />Action: Motion duly made and seconded to take from available funds the <br />sum of Slv—.000.00. 00. 130 for, 4 opposed. The motion passed. <br />Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to accept the following <br />recommendations of the Mashpee Municipal Government Study Committee, or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />(a) That the Town vote by ballot, pursuant to GL Ch 41, Section 21, to <br />have its Selectmen act as Park Cbmmissioners in place of the presently elected <br />Park and Recteation Commission and that thereupon the Selectmen appoint a Superintendent <br />of Parks and Recreation. <br />Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to have placed <br />on the official ballot at the next annual meeting the question as to whether or not <br />its Selectmen shall act as Park Commissioners. <br />Motion was duly made and seconded to accept the article as amended. <br />Unanimously voted. <br />(b) That the town vote to, -,approve the appointment by the Selectmen of an <br />Executive Secretary to the Selectmen, whose duties shall be defined by them. <br />Action: Motion duly made and seconded that no further action be taken <br />on this article at this time. The motion passed. <br />(c) That the Town vote by ballot pursuant to General Laws, Chapter 41, <br />Section 21, to have its Selectmen act as a Board of Health in place of the presently <br />elected Board of Health, and that thereupon the Selectmen appoint a ful time agent <br />for the Board of Health. <br />Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to have placed <br />on the official ballot at the next annual meeting the question as to whether or <br />not the Selectmen shall act as Board of Health. <br />
