328 <br />Continued Page 11 May 12, 1975 <br />Article 40: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $700.00 for the construction of an outdoor <br />basketball court, to be located in Collins Field. <br />ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 40 to read: To <br />see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $700.00 for the <br />construction of an outdoor basketball court, to be located in Pocknett Field. <br />Motion made and seconded to accept Article 40 as amended. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 41: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds a sum of money for the purchase of a "walkie talkie" portable <br />radio for the Fire Department or take any other action thereon. <br />, <br />ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 41 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $650.00 for the <br />purchase of a "walkie talkie" portable radio for the Fire Department. Motion <br />duly made and seconded to accept Article 41 as amended. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 42: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the hiring of two men <br />for the Fire Department and further to raise and appropriate a sum of money <br />sufficient to pay their salaries according to the Salary Administration Plan or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 42. <br />Motion carried. <br />Article 43: To see what amount of money the Town will vote to transfer <br />from available funds or raise and appropriate to be added to the Fire Department <br />Capital Outlay Fund or take any other action thezDn. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 43 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Revenue Sharing Fund the sum <br />of $10,000. to be added to the Fire Department Capital Outlay Fund. <br />Article 44: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of , <br />Selectmen to appoint a full-time Shellfish Warden or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />ACTION: Motiohimade and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 44. <br />Motion carried. <br />Article 45: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $10,000 for a full-time Shellfish Warden or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: No action. <br />Article 46: To see if the Town will raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of Twenty -Five Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars for reseeding <br />quahogs and oysters, or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to take from available funds the <br />sum of Twenty -Five Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars. A vote. <br />Article 47: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $3,900.00 to defray the cost of legal services <br />from the Board of Appeals or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: No action. ' <br />Article 48: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $5,000.00 to continue the title examination of <br />Teal estate of "unknown owners" or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to take from available funds the sum <br />of $5,000.00. So voted. <br />Article 49: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or <br />take from available funds the sum of money for the conversion to "Date Processing" <br />the Assessors' records for the billing of real estate and personal property tax <br />list, or take any other action thereon. <br />
