To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $1,500.00 to establish an account for special educational programs or workshops for the town employees with the Selectmen's approval or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate with Amendment "for the fulltime town employees." ACTICN: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,500.00 for Article 30 as read with the amendment "for the fulltime town employees." Vote carried. ARTICLE '31. To see if the Town will vote to establish an Industrial Commission consisting of five (5)' members in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8A: One.for one year; one for two ,years; one for three ,years; one for four years; and one for five years -- to be appointed by the Selectmen, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. Recommended by Finance Committee. ACTION: Moved and seconded to accept Article 31 as read. Vote carried. ARTICLE 32. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $300.00 to defray the expenses pf the Industrial Commission, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. ACTION: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of $300.00. Vote carried. ARTICLE 33. To see if the Toon will vote to raise and Tpropriate or take from available funds the sum of $ to rent a bond copy machine and to further raise and appropriate the sum of $ to defray the cost of supplies for such machine, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of ' Selectmen. Recommended bb Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,740.00 and to further raise and appropriate $310.00. Vote carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M. On Tuesday, May 4, 1976 the meeting opened at 7:30 p.m. ARTICLE 34. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $ to purchase an electric typewriter for the Selectmen's Office or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate $570.25 for the purchase of an electric typewriter for the Selectmen's Office. Vote carried. ARTICLE 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take ' from available funds the sum of $ to update the plans for Town Hall offices, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. Recommended by Finance Committee and Board of Selectmen to table. ACTION: Moved and seconded to indefinitely postpone. Vote carried. ARTICLE 36. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $1,000.00 for the expense of demolishing unsightly buildings, the Town to collect expenses from owners for demolishing or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Building Inspector. Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate.
