Vote <br />carried. <br />ARTICLE 39. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $1,377.60 to be expended toward the operating <br />expenses of Cape Cod Family and Childrens' Service, Inc. under the direction of <br />the Selectmen, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Cape Cod Family <br />and Childrens' Services, Inc. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of 81,377.60. <br />Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 40. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of 81,676.25 to be expended toward the operating I expenses of Cape Cod Mental Health Association or take any other .ction thereon. <br />Submitted by the Cape Cod Mental Health Association. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to amend Article 40 to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of $716.25 to be expended toward the operating expense of Cape Cod Mental <br />Health Association. (This amount,'plus the $960 appropriated for Cape Cod Mental <br />Health Association in Article 8 of this warrant, will provide them the full amount <br />of $1,676.25 as requested.) Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 41. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br />from available funds the sum of $2,000.00 for the rent of Mashpee American Legion <br />Post #262, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Commander Joseph Pina. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate $1,334.00. Same as <br />last year. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate $1,334.00 for the rent <br />of Mashpee American Legion Post #262. Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 42. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer <br />from available funds the sum of $225.00 for Mashpee's share of the Cape Cod Retired <br />Senior Volunteer Program or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Retired , <br />Senior Volunteer Program. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sum of $225.00 for <br />Article 42 as read. Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 43. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of $3,500.00 to construct a concrete footing and floor, to <br />purchase, move and set up a surplus building from Otis Air Force Base at the Town <br />Disposal Area, so as to comply with Chapter III, Section 150A, Regulation 5 Section <br />5.3 of the General Laws. Said building to house the contractor's equipment at the <br />Disposal Area, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Health. <br />
