430 <br />Annual Town Meeting -13- May 1, 1978 <br />"Repairs provided for herein shall not be made without the <br />authorization of the Selectmen or their designated representative. <br />"The Town shall not be liable on account of any damages <br />caused by such repairs. <br />"All repairs referred to above may be done by 'the Town High- <br />way Department or a contractor duly authorized by the Board of <br />Selectmen, subject to availability of funds." <br />(Submitted by the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 14 be accepted <br />as read. M'6tion carried unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds or raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000.00, or any <br />other sum, to provide temporary repairs to private ways as pro- <br />vided for in the Town Bylaws, or take any other action thereon. <br />(§ubmitted by the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 15 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to take from Revenue Sharing <br />Funds the sum of $10,000 to provide temporary repairs to private <br />ways as provided for in the Town Bylaws. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 16. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By - <br />Law and so note on the Zoning Map, by changing from Industrial to <br />Residential, R-1. <br />All land now noted as industrial on said Zoning Map shown <br />onLAssessor's records: Land, 54.30 acres, Property Location, <br />Route 28; Property Identification, 81 13-15A and being Parcel #4 <br />on Plan recorded Barnstable District Registry of Deeds, Plan <br />Book 295, Page 40. (Submitted by Petition of Citizens) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 16 be Tabled. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 17a. To see if the Town will vote a sum of money to make <br />a layout of Hooppole Road, or take any other action thereon. <br />(Submitted by the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 17a be <br />Indefinitely Postponed. <br />ARTICLE 17b. To see if the Town will vote to accept Hooppole <br />Road as a Town Road. (Submitted by a Petition of Citizens) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 17b be <br />Indefinitely Postponed. <br />ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town of <br />Mashpee Zoning Bylaws Land Use Regulations, Section 613B Para- <br />graph 13: <br />13. Country Club, miniature golf, swimming, tennis; or <br />other recreational facility of a similar nature. <br />TO READ: <br />"13. Country Club, miniat-ure golf, swimming, tennis, or <br />another recreational facility of a smmilar nature not <br />operated as a business gain." <br />(Submitted by the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 18 as <br />read.
