4�Z Special Town Meeting -7- November 15, 1978 ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $1,550.00 from the Mashpee Legal Defense Fund held by the Treasurer to the Selectmen's Legal & Engineering Account, or take any other action thereon. . ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 14 to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $1,550.00 with accumulated interest from the Mashpee Legal Defense Fund held by the Treasurer to the Selectmen's Legal & Engineering Account. A unanimous vote. ' ARTICLE 15. To see iflithe Town will vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $11,000, or any other sum, to the Town Insurance Account to meet the fiscal year 78/79 insurance obligations or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 15 to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Revenue Sharing the sum of $10,100 to the Town Insurance Account to meet the fiscal year 78/79 insurance obligations. Motion carried.. ARTICLE 16. To see if the Townnwill vote to transfer from available funds a sum of money to purchase one Class "A" safe for the Assessor's Office, or take any other action thereon.. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 16 be Indefinitely Postponed. Motion carried. ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to contract with the New Bedford Gas & Edison Light Company to install and maintain (Sodium Vapor 1600 Lumen) street lights on the following poles: ROUTE #28 - Pole Numbers 225/44, 24/38, P1/20, 24/53, 24/54, 24/55; ROUTE #151 - Pole Numbers 34/4, 34/5, 34/36, 34/37, 34/38; and to install and maintain (Sodium Vapor 9500 Lumen) on: Pole Numbers 24/57, 24/63; and Route #28 Route #130 - Pole Numbers 1/71 and 1/72; or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 17 as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire Chief's Salary Account or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 18 as follows: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Anti - recession Fiscal Assistance Title II Funds the sum of $1,000.00 to be applied to the Fire Chief's.Salary Account. Motion carried. ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $11,880.00, or any other sum, as the local share to construct a Town of Mashpee Class'I Bike - path (1.0 mile, plus or minus), adjacent to Route #28 from the Rotary at Route #151 and Route #28 to the Barnstable Town line, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 19 be Indefinitely Postponed. Motion carried. ARTICLE 20. To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for necessary repair projects in connection with the storm disaster of 1978 and to see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer to borrow such sum under the provisions of Chapter 74 of the Acts of 1945, or take any other action -in relation thereto.
