452 <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT <br />May 7, 1979 <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br />Barnstable, ss: <br />To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: <br />In the name of'the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are <br />hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the Town <br />of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the election, to meet at <br />the Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the seventh day of May, 1979, <br />at seven o'clock, p.m.,,for the following purposes: <br />To act on the articles contained in the following warrant: <br />ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will - vote to take from available <br />funds the sum of $92.00, or any other sum, to cover the follow- <br />ing Unpaid Bills for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978; <br />VETERANS' BENEFITS <br />Edwin P. Tripp, Jr. $92.00 <br />Submitted by the Town Accountant <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town will <br />vote to take $92.00 from Unemployment Compensation to cover the <br />following Unpaid Bill for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978: <br />VETERANS' BENEFITS <br />Edwin P. Tripp, Jr. $92.00 <br />Motion carried. .Voted unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the <br />Revenue Sharing Account, or take from available funds, a sum of ' <br />money to meet the obligation of the new contract between the Town <br />of Mashpee and the Mashpee°Police Employees Association, Inc., <br />for the fiscal year July 1, 1978, to June 30, 1979, or take any <br />other action thereon.. <br />Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br />ACTION: Motion'made and seconded to see if the Town will <br />vote to transfer from the following funds the sum of $25,000.00 <br />to meet the obligation of the new contract between the Town of <br />Mashpee and the Mashpee Police Employees Association, Inc.,for <br />the fiscal year July 1, 1978, to June 30, 1979: <br />$19,000.00 Interest on Temp. Loans <br />3,000.00 Interest on Notes & Bonds <br />3,000.00 Indian Museum Curator Salary <br />$25,000.00 Total <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE �. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from avail- <br />able funds the sum of $15,000, or any other sum, to be applied <br />to the Legal and Engineering account, or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br />ACTION: Motion made andsseconded to see if the Town will <br />vote to transfer from Interest Notes and Bonds the sum of $15,000 <br />to be applied to the Legal and Engineering Account. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from avail- <br />able funds the sum of $1,500, or any other sum, to be applied to <br />the Selectmen's Advertising Account, or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town will <br />vote to transfer from the Indian Museum Clerical Wages the sum <br />,i . <br />
