lauline: All oaks in there?
L. Hollander: Yes and you are willing to take out twelve oaks to save one.
[yne: It was the distance from one of the trees.
. Hollanders I have the drawing here, which the board looks at. There is the original
riand there is the banking. That is exactly parallel to it.
sI don't remember that.
ne: Takes out the revised plan. We didn't want any bulldozers in here so we moved
t over there.
Hollander: If you draw that over here that is exactly what he will have in there.
[en: He can't get equipment in behind it though. .
a ne: That is a good point.
Lr. Hollanders He will have his equipment over here too.
ran : Is that in the Order of Conditions to have his equipment stay away from the bank
ne: Right.
Mr. Hollanders His foundation goes way back here. This is the worst space for the reason
ithat there is nothing in here. This whole banking could go right down.
Dorothyt Does Mr. Hollander have a copy of the Order of Conditions?
Pauline: Yes, he has a copy of the Order of Conditions.
Mr, Hollander: The other thing I object to is that you people say he has to fix that rip-
rap. You are supposed to be Conservationists. Riprap will not hold any wall. If he wants
to build a wall, how is he going to get the rocks there? We spent $8,000 fixing that bridge
over there because somebody brought rocks down there.
Wayne: The riprap is beneficial, Mr. Hollander.
Mr. Hollander: I don't know how long you have been around, son. I have put some stones in
myself and that is the sorriest thing I ever did. Because I got them at a bargain= they
were down on the beach and it was a mistake.
Wayne: Because they are the wrong type of rocks.
Charles: The whole situation as it stands now is no matter what we have said DEQE has said
that they are going down to look at it and they are going to supersede or not supersede us.
Mr. Hollander: The other thing that I object to is putting this jetty in here. If he comes
to this point right here, all he needs is 20 or 30 feet out there. He doesn't need all this. .
