-16-
J
layne: Is this going to be a joint effort?
Lr. Hollander: Yes, it is going to be a joint effort.
a e: Well, you should get together if you are going to talk to these people. You
ave more to say about this than we do.
. Hollander: Actually, the other thing is that we own street line property and the
eople across the street were disturbed that they were not notified.
'a e: They are not abutters.
. Hollander: They are abutters because of where the property line is.
auline: Five people were notified.
. Hollander: Just two neighbors were notified and neither one of us could get here.
auline: Would you explain to Mr. Anderson of DEQE in Lakeville your objections because
they are going to be superseding everything on this.
Mr. are
What about their extending the building which is on the plan?
Charles: It is just proposed on the plan.
Paulinet They do not have a building permit for it yet as far as I know.
Mr. Hollander: Another question is would you people police the pulling in and out of
those docks on May 1 and in September?
Pauline: Yes. There are only two Orders of Conditions pertaining to docks being put in
like that.
Mr. Hollander: How could he get them out?
Pauline: By hand. Read that Order of Conditions thoroughly.
Mr. Hollander: The next question I would like to ask is if you people would be interested
in re-seeding the sand bar. Try to get the money that Hennigan has received. This is
aside from what we've been talking about.
Charles: What money? He didn't get any money. You are talking of the spit?
Mr. Hollander: Yes.
Charles: Last I remember, based on the recommendation forwarded to DEQE by the engineering
outfit that they hired, it said that the project could not go forward. Contrary to their
present policy, there could be no dredging. If there could be no dredging, there could be
no lifting on the spit as it is. Their answer more or less was let nature take its course.
Mr. Hollander: Well, I agree with that. We have $150,000 according to Mr. Hennigan. The
next thing I heard that we have $15,000; and the next thing I heard was. that we have $30,000.
Charles: The money didn't come to my knowledge.
Mr. Hollander: Well, I will check on that.
