Study of John's Pond A copy of a letter dated April 18, 1980, to Kevin O'Connell was received by the Conserva- tion Commission. It is in reference to new regulations which have been set down for the funding of lake restoration/preservation projects under Section 314 (Clean Lakes Program). of the 1977 Amendments to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. With these funds, it would be possible to "update" the John's Pond Water Quality Study to meet the current EPA guidelines at no cost to the Town of Mashpee. The Conservation Commission sent a letter dated May 15, 1980, confirming that they are still in support of this update study.
