u -7-
Mr. Doyle: If in the event when we dig the hole we find that there is some imper-
vious material, they request that it be removed and filled with sand and gravel.
Ken: All set, Charlie?
Charles: It is okay with me.
Order -of Conditions
11. The work shall conform to the following described plans: Site and Sewage Plan
for Claire Summer, 3 Bedroon Single Family Dwelling, Lot '30 Fells Pond Rd. Dated:
June 1 , 1080 Plans Drawn By: Doyle Associates, Falmouth, Ma.
12. All impervious material is to be removed and replaced with clean, coarse sand
in area beneath diffusors.
13. No heavy equipment on the water side of the house is allowed.
Maushop Village --
Bluff stabilization
Mr. Savery: It is primarily a twofold operation. We want to make sure that we are
on the right track. We issued the Notice of Intent and you have not received it?
Ken: You sent it, but it was not sent certified.
Mr. Savery: This is the profile of this plan.
Ken: Can we look at the locus plan now?
Mr. Savery: What we have existing there is a very severe erosion problem along that
bluff.in certain sections. (Shows the board pictures that were recently taken to
show them what is happening). Anywhere that the embankment has an amount of cover,
it has been protected.
Mr. Kuebler: Discusses the pictures with-the-Board -- shows most severe spot in the
area. o rs. Cole's property. We are getting the water runoff which is severe
primarily because of the fact that the incline of the bank has been increased due to
the fact that we got a lot of wash-out due to the storm. Shows a series of pictures
going from west to east. The most severe part of it is up on the western end. Shows
a picture where the bank is somewhat covered and a lot more of the under brush has
been washed out. Shows where it starts to get a little better -- took picture to
show where the under brush has been established, live vegetation is growing. Then it
gets substantially better -- you not only see yellow bushes growing, but now you see
the dune grass starting to take over. Again, this is going down more towards the
cabana club. Incidentally, even after that serious storm, that dune grass survived
the storn, low, he shows the best end of the bluff -- down here is where you have
the last of the cottages that are on the Maushop area. Shows where there is a very
gradual grade to get onto the beach. Shows a picture right at the staircase. He
took it to show where they were able to stabilize the bank, the dune grass has moved
in and did a good job.
