(continued) <br /> Special Event Application, Naukabout Beer Company, Peter Murner: <br /> Beach and Back Half Marathon, RaceWire: <br /> Beer Tent—The Pour Guys, LLC: <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the intended race course. Preliminary informational packets are <br /> available for each homeowner association. With the exception of Great Pines Drive, the remainder of <br /> the roadways that are planned for the race are located within the public ways of the Town of Mashpee. <br /> The Board of Selectmen requested the applicant notify the Greenwood Association, a private <br /> community to gain approval for access on the date of the race. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the Special Events Application of RaceWire, LLC <br /> and the Naukabout Beer Company for the first Annual Beach and Back Half Marathon on <br /> Sunday, June 11, 2017, to include a supervised beer tent to be catered by The Pour Guys, LLC of <br /> Plymouth, MA contingent upon the consent of the Greenwood Homeowners Association. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> RaceWire/Naukabout Beer Company—Request for Temporary Signage: <br /> The applicants of the first Annual Beach and Back Half Marathon presented a Temporary Sign Permit <br /> Application to the Board of Selectmen for approval to promote the race event. Discussion followed <br /> with respect to the requirements for temporary signage. It was recommended the applicants review the <br /> Town's Policy regarding Temporary Signage as there are strict limitations on the display of <br /> promotional signage. On this date, the applicants were not prepared to make a formal request for <br /> temporary signage. Since there is ample time, it was agreed the applicants would further discuss the <br /> specifics related to this request at a future Board of Selectmen's Meeting. <br />
