7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 27, 2017 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Temporary Signage, Mattress Sale Fundraiser, MHS/MMS Music Department: <br /> Temporary Signage, Annual Psychic Fair Fundraiser, MHS/MMS Boosters: <br /> The Board of Selectmen was in receipt of two Temporary Sign Permit Applications from the Mashpee <br /> High School/Mashpee Middle School Music Department to announce a Mattress Sale Fundraiser and <br /> Mashpee High School/Mashpee Middle School Boosters Club to hold a Psychic Fair. <br /> The mattress fundraiser is scheduled to be held on March 4, 2017. Small 18x24" signs in student's <br /> yards, and one larger sign 12x21/2' is planned to be displayed in front of the school, on Route 151 with <br /> removal by March 7, 2017. <br /> A total of six signs are requested 27x18"to announce the psychic fair on March 4th along Route 130, <br /> Route 151, Route 28 near Barnstable & Falmouth and on Great Neck Road North & South. Signs will <br /> be removed on March 5, 2017. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Temporary Signage Applications of the <br /> Mashpee High School/Mashpee Middle School as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> Save Popponesset Bay presentation on expansion of Popponesset Approach Channel as proposed by <br /> Woods Hole Group: <br /> Review and approval of Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Mashpee and Save <br /> Popponesset Bay, Inc.: <br /> The two above referenced agenda topics were postponed. <br />
