Conservation Commission Officer Gertrude Farrady appeared before the Committee to represent the Conservation Commission Officer F 87 Budget . She requested a salary o $1.8 , 812 . 00 . vehicle Maintenance , $300 , was put in expenses , uniform expense was agreed upon at $30 and dry clears rng was removed from the expenses . The Miscellaneous Expense category was renamed office Supplies and Equipment . The Finance Committee unanimously approved the Conservation Commission Officer Budget as follows : Salary . . . , . $189812 . 00 Expenses . 3 , 550 . 00 $22 , 362 . 00 Board ecr•etr a e Accounts i Vern prepared an Analysis of the Board Secretary Wage i Account and distributed it to Finance Committee members , i The Finance Committee discussed the need for direction in regard to Board Secretary salaries for Advisory Committees . There presently is no control over the number o .hours secretaries submit . The Selectmen have to date given no direction and the Personnel Board feels it is not their responsibility . Advisory Boards have no legal status and it was suggested the clerk of the board be responsible for taking the minutes .
